We are a start-up Honda S2000 focused brand with plans to develop bespoke products and branch into more Research & Development for other performance automotive platforms. Currently, we have long been developing re-imagined tail lights for the Honda S2000.

Throughout the entire lifespan of this iconic car, the Honda S2000 AP1 and AP2 (chassis codes) were both highly praised for their individual performance and cosmetic differences. Bestowed upon the car enthusiast market in 1999, the S2000’s production run sadly came to an end in 2009. If Honda had continued producing the S2000, along with their engineering team to develop a new chassis, then the “AP3” chassis would almost certainly have been the next chapter in its legacy.

Now, more than 25 years later since the S2000’s public debut, AP3LAB was founded to give back to the S2000 community and also pay homage to the S2000 AP1 & AP2 platforms.

With its design that originally started on pencil & paper, we have passionately developed “successor” tail lights that embody a conceptual evolution of the S2000 – offering a modernized take on the performance, aesthetic, and visual identity that an “AP3” S2000 might have introduced.

S2000 owners from all over the world continue sharing the passion and felt connection to this special car till this very day. So, in light of Shigeru Uehara’s philosophy, we are doing our part to continue the legacy.
